Ninety One - Topic

The name of the group means "1991" a year when Kazakhstan gained its independence. Thus, the group personifies the birth of a new, independent musical direction in Kazakhstan.   NINETY ONE created a new musical genre - Q-POP (Qazaq-pop) which is a symbiosis of Western and Asian mixture of different musical genres from hip-hop to funky.
