Fathermoh

Moses Otieno, famously known as Fathermoh is one of Kenyan best known artist. His career started when he joined the group Mbuzi Gang which featured iPhoolish and Joefes. His first song was 'Wagithomo' which was inspired by an ex. Their second hit cam,e a couple months laterr. Shamra Shamra. His dad wanted him to do gospel. He refused arguing there is no money in Gospel music. "There was the assumption that gengetone was vulgar. So I was scared to tell him, he never used to know what I did, so after Wagithomo it became a popular hit, then an Uncle discovered it, he took a picture and sent it to my dad. My dad stayed silent for a month, then after the second song he asked me when I had planned to tell him I was writing gengetone" Good thing he was making money, so his dad didn't make too much trouble. "I used to sell slippers, I used to make 1500. Then music started making more money so I stopped selling mtumba" Currently touring internationally He was born in Dondora, Kenya
