In 2012, Yerin debuted as a K-pop duo and the public immediately recognized her as one of the most extraordinarily talented singers of the age with a voice like no other. Making consecutive hits through ‘Bye bye my blue,’ ‘FRANK’ and ‘Our love is great,’ Yerin as a solo artist cultivated an unprecedented genre and style of her own that is both mainstream and alternative at once. Upon launching her own label in 2019, Yerin released an all-English album, whose title track ‘Square’ became the first English language song in history to top all Korean music charts despite linguistic barriers. In 2020, she won Record of the Year, Best Pop Album, and Best Pop Song at the Korean Music Awards, once again establishing her remarkable presence in music as she looks ahead to her boundless future.
