The name means "to shout out," reflecting their expressive style. • THE ROOP gained prominence in 2018 with "Yes, I Do" in the Lithuanian Eurovision National Selection, placing #3. Their 2020 entry, "On Fire", became a global sensation despite Eurovision's cancellation, winning numerous alternative contests. In 2021, they returned with "Discoteque", finishing #8 in the Eurovision Grand Final. • THE ROOP won Eurovision 2020 - Das Deutsche Finale on German TV with "On Fire".
