| Hello, I am Maham, I am a member of @unicef_uk’s Youth Advisory Board. A huge thanks to Tom for lending me his platform today, on the first day of #COP26, to amplify the voices of young people around the world.
If ever there was a time for change, it’s now. We know exactly where we are headed if we choose inaction again. Today, on the first day of the conference, I am hopeful that we will take tangible and specific actions that will pave the road towards climate stability.
We do this for us, children and young people around the globe, and for future generations, who deserve to have their rights fully realised on an earth free from the consequences of their ancestors' passivity.
