What a ride it has been. From playing for the national team and representing belgium on the European Championship and World Cup U17. To ending my career in one of the craziest club’s in Belgium.
Becoming a football player was my childhood dream and to have lived that dream for 17 years is just unbelievable. I will be forever grateful 🙏🏽
Scoring goals, assisting, playing big games, winning cups, the adrenaline rush of these moments is something I will miss. That brief moment makes u feel like you’re on top of the world.
Winning 2 cups of Belgium, scoring my first goal in the JPL and Europe all happened with @ksclokerentemse_official. What an amazing time but also the death of Gregory will be something I always remember 😢 the fans of lokeren gave me unforgettable memories. One of those was when I played with Zulte Waregem at daknam and scored. I played one of my best games against lokeren but the way the fans pushed me forward with every action even tho it was against them and the standing ovation I had after the game is something that surpasses everything I achieved in my career.
Playing in the Ligue1 and scoring against PSG is something I will always cherish. I was lucky to play in front of amazing fans in @eaguingamp in le stade roudourou!
@esseveeofficial and it’s boeren are probably the proudest fans that stand behind their team and have had some amazing spectacles witnessed the past 10years 🙏🏽
@crizesporas and @atromitosathinonfc have been cultural gems that I was lucky enough to play for all during covid! Where other players were unfortunate to have endured that time without club.
Then to top it of @royal_antwerp_fc One of the biggest teams now in Belgium and the craziest fans. I couldn’t have been prouder of the journey!
I wanted to go on for some more years but football has decided differently. Which I have to accept! I want to close this chapter on a good note and this is the way.
Thank you football for everything, I will always be grateful for what you have given me ❤️🔥⚽️
